<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><DIV STYLE="font-size:12pt"><P><SPAN>The names of these rivers in the Bay of Fundy and Port Hawkesbury Area Response Plan (ARP) regions were obtained from Recovery Potential Assessments (see references), and cross referenced with the Atlas of Canada hosted online by Natural Resources Canada. These rivers were then identified and marked in ArcGIS using the Nova Scotia and New Brunswick Hydrographic Networks. Point features were used to represent the river mouths. For rivers large enough to be represented by polygon features, the point was placed where the polygon closed the inlet. For smaller rivers represented by a polyline, the point was placed where the line intersected the coastline. When multiple tributaries of a river were identified as salmon rivers, only the most seaward was marked.</SPAN></P><P><A href="https://open.canada.ca:443/data/en/dataset/ded53eaa-bb98-4476-beea-3138372c740b" STYLE="text-decoration:underline;"><SPAN>Learn more or download this dataset from the Government of Canada's Open data portal.</SPAN></A></P><P><SPAN>Les noms de ces rivières dans les zones du plan d’intervention localisée (PIL) de la baie de Fundy et du Port Hawkesbury ont été obtenus à partir d’évaluations du potentiel de rétablissement (voir références) et ont été vérifiés avec l’Atlas du Canada hébergé en ligne par Ressources Naturelles Canada. Ces rivières ont ensuite été identifiées et marquées dans ArcGIS à l’aide des réseaux hydrographiques de la Nouvelle-Écosse et du Nouveau-Brunswick. Des éléments ponctuels ont été utilisés pour représenter l’embouchure des rivières. Pour les rivières suffisamment grandes pour être représentées par des polygones, le point a été placé où le polygone fermait le bras de mer. Pour les plus petits cours d’eau représentés par une polyligne, le point a été placé au point d’intersection de la ligne avec le littoral.
