In intertidal zones beds were delineated on foot by staff and volunteers. Beds in subtidal zones were delineated using 2 methods: kayakers assisted by freedivers and boats with underwater cameras.</SPAN><SPAN> </SPAN><SPAN>2009 was the first year that all eelgrass beds around the island were mapped.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
