La couche représente les zones </SPAN><SPAN>végétalisées à plus de 25% </SPAN><SPAN>dont la zostère est la végétation dominante. </SPAN><SPAN><SPAN>La région d’étude comprend l’ensemble des littoraux estuariens et maritimes du Québec, à l’exception de certains secteurs dont la majeure partie de la Basse-Côte-Nord et de l’Île d’Anticosti, à l’exception des villages de Kegaska, la Romaine, Chevery, Blanc-Sablon et Port-Menier. Certaines îles au large des côtes de l’estuaire et du golfe font parties de la région couverte, telles que l’Île d’Orléans, l’Isle-aux-Coudres, l’Île Verte et l’Île Bonaventure.</SPAN></SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 1 0;"><SPAN /></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 1 0;"><SPAN>La Cartographie des écosystèmes côtiers de l’estuaire et du golfe du Saint-Laurent a été réalisée conjointement par le Laboratoire de dynamique et de gestion intégrée des zones côtières (LDGIZC) de l’Université du Québec à Rimouski</SPAN><SPAN>,</SPAN><SPAN>dans le cadre du Projet Résilience côtière (https://ldgizc.uqar.ca/Web/projets/projet-resilience-cotiere) financée par le MELCC</SPAN><SPAN /><SPAN>et par l’équipe de Pêches et Océans Canada, dans le cadre de son volet Planification pour une Intervention </SPAN><SPAN>Maritime </SPAN><SPAN>Intégrée (PI</SPAN><SPAN>MI</SPAN><SPAN>) du Plan de Protection des Océans (PPO) ayant pour objectif la mise à jour du Régime de préparation et d’intervention en cas de déversement d’hydrocarbures en milieu marin du Canada.</SPAN><SPAN /><SPAN>La geodatabase mère de la Cartographie des écosystèmes côtiers de l’estuaire et du golfe du Saint-Laurent est hébergée par</SPAN><SPAN /><SPAN>l'UQAR sur </SPAN><SPAN>la </SPAN><SPAN>plateforme cartographique SIGEC-Web: https://ldgizc.uqar.ca/Web/sigecweb</SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 1 0;"><SPAN /></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 1 0;"><SPAN>La caractérisation des herbiers de zostère a été majoritairement réalisée à partir de la photo-interprétation de photos aériennes RVBI </SPAN><SPAN>prises </SPAN><SPAN>par le MPO (2015-2020) et de photos obliques héliportées </SPAN><SPAN>prises </SPAN><SPAN>par l'UQAR en 2017. Le présent jeu de données inclut aussi en partie les informations de stations de validation visitées par l'UQAR (2018-2020). Les données issues de stations d'échantillonnage, réalisées à bord de petites embarcations lors des campagnes de terrain du MPO</SPAN><SPAN>(2017-2021) </SPAN><SPAN>ont </SPAN><SPAN>aussi </SPAN><SPAN>été </SPAN><SPAN>utilisées </SPAN><SPAN>pour valider et préciser la photo-interprétation</SPAN><SPAN>.</SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 1 0;"><SPAN /></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 1 0;"><SPAN>Ce jeu de données comprend également des herbiers de zostère caractérisés en Basse-Côte-Nord (MRC Le Golfe-de-Saint-Laurent) par l'Agence Mamu Innu Kaikusseht (AMIK)</SPAN><SPAN /><SPAN>dans le cadre du projet ''Implication des communautés Innues dans la protection des espèces en péril et de leurs habitats 2010-2011</SPAN><SPAN>''</SPAN><SPAN>. This dataset also includes the information from validation stations visited by UQAR (2018-2020). Data from sampling stations, carried out aboard small boats during DFO field campaigns</SPAN><SPAN>(2017-2021)</SPAN><SPAN>, were also used to validate and refine the photo-interpretation</SPAN><SPAN>.</SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 1 0;"><SPAN /></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 1 0;"><SPAN>This dataset also includes eelgrass beds characterized in the Basse-Côte-Nord (MRC Le Golfe-de-Saint-Laurent) by the Agence Mamu Innu Kaikusseht (AMIK) as part of the project ''Involvement of Innu communities in the protection of species at risk and their habitats 2010-2011''. These data were produced during aerial overflights at low altitude (200m and 400m) of the foreshore, </SPAN><SPAN>as </SPAN><SPAN>2 observers circumscribed and documented the covering of eelgrass beds.</SPAN></P><P STYLE="margin:0 0 1 0;"><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
