The objective of this project was to describe the fecundity-at-size (weight, length, and age) relationships among spawning grounds, compare these relationships to historical fecundity-at-size relationships, and assess the influence of changes in weight-at-age and fecundity over time to the reproductive potential of a unit of spawning stock biomass.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>____________________________________________________________________</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>En 2019 et en 2020, on a estimé la fécondité du hareng (Clupea harengus) dans cinq zones de fraie (banc German, baie Scots, île Seal, côte sud de la Nouvelle-Écosse et côte est de la Nouvelle-Écosse) situées dans les divisions 4W et 4X de l’Organisation des pêches de l’Atlantique Nord-Ouest (OPANO). L’objectif de ce projet était de décrire les relations de fécondité selon la taille (poids, longueur et âge) dans les aires de fraie, de les comparer aux relations de fécondité selon la taille antérieures, et d’évaluer l’influence des changements liés au poids selon l’âge et à la fécondité au fil du temps sur le potentiel reproducteur d’une unité de biomasse du stock reproducteur.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
